Who is the best beatboxer in Chennai to book for an event?
When choosing the best beatboxer in Chennai for your event, look for a beatboxer with stage experience, battle credentials and live clips you can watch first. Jar Kofff is a national-level beatboxer, was featured by Indian Beatbox Championship 2022, has judged at Madras Christian College, and performs live beatbox and rap sets across Chennai. Watch the performances.
Are you a rapper and a beatboxer?
Yes. Jar Kofff is a rapper who is also a beatboxer, so one set can carry the beat, the bars and a freestyle without a DJ in between. That double skill set is what makes him one of the freshest talents in Chennai’s rap scene.
What do you perform?
Live beatbox sets, rap and freestyle, sets that combine beatbox and bars, and rap showcases on backing tracks. Beatbox sets are fully live with one mic, no loops or backing track.
What kind of events can I book you for?
Live shows, college fests, brand events, private events and weddings, battles and judging, workshops, and studio or stage collaborations.
How do I book a performance?
Use the booking form or the “Book or ask” chat. Both prepare your request and send it to WhatsApp. You can also message +91 96000 18713 directly or email venkeyvenkat800@gmail.com.
What are your rates?
Rates depend on the event type, city, date and set length. Send those details and you’ll get a quote on WhatsApp or email.
Can you do a rap set with backing tracks?
Yes. A rap showcase on backing tracks is available when booked. Mention it in your request, along with the set length you need.
Do you judge battles?
Yes. Jar Kofff has judged the Atarah beatbox and rap event at Madras Christian College and is open to judging battles and competitions.
Do you travel for shows?
Yes, share your city or venue when you enquire and travel is worked out as part of the booking.
What do you need on stage?
A good wired or wireless vocal mic and a PA system that suits the room. For a rap showcase, the sound setup also needs to play the backing tracks. Exact technical needs are confirmed once the booking is set.
Do you run beatbox workshops and classes in Chennai?
Yes. Beatbox workshops in Chennai are available for colleges, schools, communities and teams, plus small-group beatboxing classes. Each one follows the same path: foundations, sound theory, understanding music, routine building and stage presence, pitched to the group’s level. See workshop formats.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as you can, especially for fest season and weekends. Last-minute requests are welcome too; just ask.
Where can I watch your performances?
Instagram @jar_kofff has the reels, including the Indian Beatbox Championship 2022 feature. The national beatbox entry is on YouTube.
